Local Attractions

Our hotel is situated 20 minutes by car from the center of Budapest whilst 10 minutes from the picturesque artist town of Szentendre on the bank of Danube. The recently opened Arpad Spring Spa complex is only a 5-minute walk away and the nearby Romai-part (Roman Embankment) also offers excellent entertainment, relaxation possibilities as well as a range of local restaurants. The banks of the Danube and the Buda hills are within easy reach for those who enjoy biking and hiking.

Csillaghegy Open Air Swimming Pool and Arpad Spring Spa Complex

 

This recently refurbished and re-opened complex is situated in one of the oldest and most beautiful parks of Budapest and is open all-year-round. In 2018, this historic spa complex was enlarged with new pools, a wellness complex, a special children’ area and a sauna complex. There are now thermal pools for relaxing in, competition pool for training, a learner pool as well as the “Children’s Paradise” play area. There are also water slides and other exciting features.

The sauna area is equipped with an aromatherapy sauna, a devil sauna, a steam room, a large panoramic Finnish sauna, a hot tub with salty water, a bio sauna, dipping pools with warm and cold water, as well as a relaxation tub with 36-degree water on the panorama terrace.

Szentendre – the famous picturesque artist town situated on the bank of the Danube

 

This town is one of the jewels of the Danube-bend.  With its open-air Skansen museum, its many art galleries and other museums, restaurants, ice cream shops – this is one of the most popular tourist destinations near to Budapest. It has a Mediterranean atmosphere with its cozy cobblestone streets.  With its rich collection of museums, exhibition halls and galleries, Szentendre is very much the town of artists and art. This town also hosts a range of festivals, cultural and gastronomical events all-year-round.

Budapest is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe.
